At Link+ we have a highly integrated IS system designed specifically to support the customs clearance process.

Our IT department is managed by a licensed Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) professional who brought his knowledge and experience of Customs to the design of our Broker Plus Software.

Our IT department is continuously evolving and evaluating our IS infrastructure by implementing cutting edge productivity tools with the sole purpose of elevating the Customs clearance processes. We also pride ourselves on retaining and recruiting licensed custom brokers to serve our clients.

We have been electronically transmitting data for thirty years and have the capacity to communicate with clients using their preferred format and transmission methods. Features include:

  • Documentation transmitting, customized reports, billing and data base sharing
  • Invoices, POs, CCI, certificate of origins and product databases between vendors and our clients
  • Formats including excel, word, pdf, EDIFACT, ANSI and CVS
  • Transmission methods used are email, VAN, FTP/SFTP and AS/2
  • Sophisticated entry management system that displays the real time status of entries and built in compliance tools applied to every transaction

Computer controls and databases improve the efficiency of our dedicated team members

We have built-in computer controls designed to ensure accuracy, reasonability and timeliness of Customs entries. Additionally, the maintenance of our client’s databases are critical in achieving compliance. Our databases track not only HS classifications but the specific information required in a customs entry.

Through our web portal Link+ clients have access to view and download historical transactions and standard and customized reports. These reports can be either event based or exception based and can be distributed to our clients on any frequency.
